Accomodation - Lyon 3rd district

The left bank of the Rhône is punctuated by three districts running from north to south: the 6^th, 3^rd and 7^th Districts. The 3rd District stretches across the middle part of this formerly marshy area between Cours Lafayette and Cours Gambetta. It has recently become a dynamic business district. The construction of the Part-Dieu train station, which has replaced the old Brotteaux station, which was dedicated to freight transport for decades, and the Perrache station, Lyon's historic station for passenger transport, also testifies to this trend.
