Accomodation - Lyon 7th district

The southernmost district on the left bank of the Rhône, Lyon's 7^th District (69007) lies between the Guillotière neighborhood at the edge of the 3^rd District and Gerland area, with its park, stadium and the river port of Lyon. Crossed by railroads running from southern France towards Perrache and Part-Dieu, this area was originally dedicated to industry and transport, as well as military installations with the Quartier Général Frère on the banks of the Rhône and the Sergeant Blandan barracks, soon to be turned into a park. Another highlight is the Etablissement Régional du Matériel, further east and closer to the 8^th District.
