The 8th district of Lyon (69008) is a district large enough in the far east of the city. Bordered on the east by the city of Bron, on the north by the limit of the 3rd district materialized by the Cours Albert Thomas and Rockefeller Avenue, axes convergence with medicine Lyon Edouard Herriot Hospital (formerly Grange Blanche), Faculty of Medicine, Center Léon Bérard. To the west is the 7th district which marks the boundary with the railway lines, obstacle to cross to the north and the Boulevard des Czechoslovakians. The South finally gives direct access to the town of Venissieux.
